BOOK A WORKSHOP

I teach a hands-on class where you can learn about basic mushroom biology, tree identification for obtaining logs to grow mushrooms on. You will select and inoculate two logs of either shiitake or chestnut mushroom sawdust spawn. You will learn how to make your own substrate for growing mushrooms in your own home. This is a 6-hour course which begins at 9:00 AM and concludes at 3:30 PM. A mushroom-based lunch is included in the tuition.
